Finnish tax documents. Practical support for your team.
Organise worker paperwork before mobilisation. FinnOps helps employers and project teams prepare Finnish tax card applications, tax number paperwork and registration appointments.
For contractors, employers and project teams working in Finland.
GET THE PAPERWORK MOVING
Tax card and registration coordination.
New arrivals and returning workers can need different paperwork. We help organise the administrative process around your team’s existing Finnish registrations, employment arrangements and project dates.
The agreed scope can include application preparation, a document checklist, appointment coordination and follow-up on missing information. You can request this service for an existing workforce without booking staffing, cars or accommodation.
FinnOps provides independent administrative support. Tax cards, tax numbers and personal identity codes are issued by the relevant Finnish authorities; tax decisions and processing times remain with them.
KNOW WHICH DOCUMENT YOU NEED
Identity code, tax card and tax number.
Finnish personal identity code
A Finnish personal identity code is needed to obtain a tax card or tax number. Workers requesting a code from the Tax Administration for work-related tax purposes need an in-person visit to a service point that issues codes.
Tax card applications
The application depends on the worker’s circumstances. Vero’s instructions distinguish Form 5057e for stays of six months or less and Form 5042e for stays over six months. Confirm the correct application with Vero.
Construction tax numbers
Workers at a construction site or shipyard need a tax number. The required entry in the public tax number register is a separate step to check before the worker starts on site.
Valid passport or accepted photographic identity document.
Employment or commissioning contract, plus work assignment details if needed.
Finnish site address, employer details and work dates.
Registration form and the applicable tax card application.
Residence permit or other right-to-work documentation where required.
Vero specifies the documents for each worker’s situation. Review its current instructions before the visit; this checklist supports preparation and does not replace those requirements.
Plan your group’s appointments
Send the number of workers, arrival dates, site location and the type of help required. Indicate whether the team already has Finnish identity codes, tax cards or tax numbers. Keep the first enquiry to general project details; we will discuss how to handle individual documents separately.
Can you help with Finnish tax cards for foreign workers?
Yes. We scope administrative support with application preparation, appointment coordination and document follow-up. The Finnish Tax Administration determines the tax treatment and issues the card.
Can you support workers who already have Finnish identity codes?
Yes. Tell us what the team already has and which task remains outstanding, such as tax card paperwork or tax number registration follow-up.
Can you guarantee approval or a processing date?
The relevant authorities control approvals and processing. We coordinate the agreed preparation and appointment tasks around your project dates.
Should I upload passports or tax documents here?
No. Send only your contact details, team size, dates and support requirements in the enquiry form. Individual document handling can be discussed separately.
